Our team of researchers focuses on LEAN manufacturing, Quality Management, automation, technology-based improvements, Life Cycle Assessments, circular supply chains, and freight transportation. You will complement our team with your expertise in Sustainable Operations Management, exploring the intersections between our research areas and the role of new technologies in creating sustainable operations and supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
As a sustainable operations management specialist, you will:
- Develop the research field by defining ideas and concepts for future projects.
- Write and collaborate on research proposals, including PhD projects.
- Conduct and lead research projects with partners across the globe.
- Supervise PhD students (Associate Professor) or co-supervise PhD students (Assistant Professor).
- Teach and supervise in engineering education and continuing education.
- Apply both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a PhD degree and experience in teaching and research. As an Associate Professor, you should also have academic qualifications equivalent to those obtained by holding an Assistant Professorship, including documented didactic/pedagogic training.
