Senior Compliance Officer

We are hiring a Senior Compliance Officer to join the Risk & Compliance team of a leading European Fintech. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the company adheres to regulatory standards and maintaining high compliance as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with local and EEA regulations, focusing on maintaining alignment with industry standards and regulator expectations.
  • Policies and Procedures Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create and refine policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a robust compliance framework.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and implement a Compliance Monitoring Programme and deliver clear and concise reports to relevant stakeholders, including management and the authorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal business units and external regulators, fostering strong relationships and providing guidance on compliance matters.
  • Training and Awareness: Prepare and deliver training sessions on regulatory compliance for relevant employees, ensuring everyone is informed and engaged.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks, providing subject matter expertise to support effective decision-making across the organization.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance and governance within regulated financial institutions, with a focus on technology or financial services.
  • A law degree or relevant compliance certifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Danish (must be business fluent in both languages to be considered).
  • A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a growth mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation Package:

The estimated salary for this position is approximately €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including work-life balance and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Work Environment:
