We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to contribute to our ongoing projects on energy system modelling and analysis, focusing on green maritime fuel transition.

Research Activities

Your research will involve the development and application of large-scale energy system models to analyze the green maritime fuel transition. You will assess promising green fuel production locations, quantify cost risks via advanced sensitivity and uncertainty assessments, and design adaptable, scalable, and robust solutions for investments in green fuel infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply large-scale energy system models to analyze the green maritime fuel transition
  • Collaborate with the project leads and team members to integrate your research into the overall project goals
  • Present your research results at international conferences and publish in leading scientific journals
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a master's degree in engineering or economics with a focus on energy system analysis or similar. You should also have experience with energy system modeling, strong writing and presentation skills, and good programming capabilities in advanced analysis software and mathematical optimization suites.
