Foundation Models for Cardiometabolic Health

About the Role
The University of Copenhagen is seeking an exceptional researcher to join our team as a Postdoc fellow in the Rasmussen Lab. As a senior research fellow in omics data analysis, you will be responsible for developing and applying computational algorithms for the analysis and integration of multi-omics and multi-modal data within cardiometabolic disease.
You will work closely with our team to develop supervised, unsupervised, self-supervised, and generative models to learn across multiple types of data rather than treating each data modality in isolation. Your expertise in machine learning and deep learning will be essential in advancing our research goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, or another relevant research field.
- Excellent scientific track record in relation to career stage.
- Profound knowledge on machine learning and/or deep learning.
- Knowledge on analysis of bulk or single-cell omics datasets.
- Experience in programming is strongly desirable.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
