Job Description

We're looking for a talented individual to join our Northern European Customer-Facing Fraud Team as a Financial Crime Analyst Intern. In this role, you'll work closely with clients to advise and design automated fraud detection and Anti-Money Laundering systems.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver data-driven fraud and compliance solutions for customers using SAS's AI platform.
  • Analyse client data to identify new fraud patterns and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  • Participate in customer advisory meetings to help translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create impactful presentations and demos showcasing SAS's capabilities.

 

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields.
  2. Proficiency in at least one programming language used for data analysis (SAS, Python, R, SQL).
  3. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  4. Leadership abilities with a proven track record of taking initiative and going above and beyond.
  5. A passion for the future of AI and embracing technology.

 

Location

This role is expected to be based at our SAS office in London, Marlow, Stockholm, or Copenhagen, with the requirement to be on campus at least three days a week.
