The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Camera/Optics Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced camera systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
You will work closely with our hardware and video pipeline software engineers to interface with both domains, gaining experience and expertise in camera system design and development.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced camera systems, considering factors such as image sensor technology, lens design, and video processing algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Interface with hardware and video pipeline software engineers to gain experience and expertise in camera system design and development.
- Develop and implement new camera technologies, ensuring they meet the company's high standards of quality and performance.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience working on camera systems, with advanced knowledge of solving day-to-day problems in such systems.
- Exceptional understanding of theoretical concepts and ability to implement them in practice.
- Proficiency in tools like Blender or Zemax for simulating and evaluating tradeoffs in camera systems.
- Experience in project management, leadership, and failure analysis, with the ability to drive corrective actions and implement improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
