The Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the ERC-funded MAGNIFY project, led by Dr. Victoria Antoci. This project explores the effects of magnetic fields on stellar structure and mixing processes within stars. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will analyze how different model parameters affect pulsation characteristics and create a comprehensive grid of stellar and pulsation models for A and F stars.

You will work closely with the project leader and other researchers to integrate your findings into a broader understanding of stellar structures. Your research will contribute significantly to advancing the field of magneto-asteroseismology and the understanding of stellar evolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced numerical methods for stellar modeling.
  • Analyze the effects of magnetic fields on stellar structure and mixing processes.
  • Collaborate with the project leader and other researchers to develop new research ideas.
  • Publish research findings in top-tier scientific journals.

We are looking for a highly skilled researcher with a strong background in stellar modeling and experience with magneto-asteroseismology.
