Public Policy Strategist

Unique Human Capital A/S is looking for a highly experienced Public Policy Strategist to join our team. As a Public Policy Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's Governmental Public Affairs & Communications strategy and action plan.
Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and analyse legislative and regulatory developments, as well as engage with government officials and policymakers. You will also drive Merck to be a relevant partner and member of the community amongst external stakeholder groups.
This role requires implementing company communication strategy by HQ guidance, supporting the external impact of the General Manager and Medical Director on shaping business-critical policy, and giving input to the local Medical and Marketing Strategy and activities.
You must possess strong communication, advocacy, and negotiation skills, as well as an innovative team-oriented mindset. The preferred candidate has a minimum of ten years of experience in commercialising and a decade of experience in Governmental Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, or External Affairs within Nordic affiliates.
