Project 007: A New Bond Origin Story
IO Interactive is seeking a talented Senior Character Artist to join the team working on Project 007, a brand-new James Bond video game. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with directors, leads, and other team members to achieve the creative vision of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, realistic-looking characters for Project 007.
- Own parts of the pipeline, such as shading, texturing, modeling, cloth simulation, or in-game setup.
- Take initiative to set new benchmarks for character quality.
- Work closely with technical animators using a mix of third-party and proprietary tools to set up character art for optimal execution and display in the in-house game engine.
- Add the final touch and polish to existing assets.
- Support the lead and producer in the overall planning of character art production.
Requirements:
- Experience working on at least two AAA titles in multiple stages of production.
- Able to create impressive and realistic-looking game characters with a strong understanding of anatomy and color.
- In-depth knowledge of 3D modeling software like Maya, 3Ds Max, and ZBrush.
- Experience with texturing tools such as Substance Painter and Designer.
- Understanding of the details in character-making and subtle storytelling.
