Postdoctoral Research Fellow for Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics

The Cardiac Proteomics Group at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to investigate protein regulations involved in the pathogenesis of cardiometabolic syndrome.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate remodeling in hearts from animal models, patient samples, and cell systems using quantitative proteomics-based approaches to identify molecular changes driving the disease state.
- Develop expertise in cutting-edge quantitative mass spectrometry-based proteomics, data analysis of large datasets, and integration of multi-omics datasets.
- Collaborate with a team of scientists across multiple scientific fields focused on improving our molecular understanding of cardiac pathophysiology.
- PhD with experience from a relevant field, including but not limited to Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Ambitious, creative, independent, and self-driven individual with hands-on skills and expert knowledge in mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
- Experience in experimental know-how of mass spectrometry-based proteomics (LC-MS/MS), analytical know-how of Mass spectrometry data analysis, and experimental know-how of various types of sample preparations.
- Good communication skills in English, both oral and written, and being willing to engage in team work.
