Postdoctoral Researcher in Bioinformatics and Genomics

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research, University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will support cutting-edge research to unravel the molecular underpinnings of diabetes and its associated cardiovascular complications.
About the PositionThe Postdoctoral Researcher will work closely with our team to develop approaches to integrate omics datasets, including genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and metagenomics, to identify novel molecular signatures. The research will focus on defining more precise diabetes subtypes beyond the current type 2 diabetes classification.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement computational methods for multi-omics data integration
- Analyze large-scale omics datasets to identify novel molecular signatures
- Collaborate with our team to design and implement research studies
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier journals
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Computer Science, or related field
- Expertise in multi-omics data integration and analysis
- Strong computational background and experience with large datasets
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
