We are seeking an experienced Education Program Manager to play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing education projects across various contexts. This position will provide technical guidance to our teams and departments, including policy, advocacy, communications, and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities- Support program management in identifying and prioritizing education funding and advocacy opportunities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to PlanBørnefonden staff on education programming and projects.
- Lead and support project development processes for education initiatives in Denmark and at Country Office level.
- Offer programmatic support to advocacy initiatives on education and education in emergencies.
- Provide technical assistance on education to Country offices, National Offices, and Global Hub.
- Develop and maintain relationships with education donors and partners.
- Contribute to organizational discussions on education-related matters, including communications, policy, fundraising, and more.
- Represent BØRNEfonden in relevant forums and key working groups, both within the Plan Federation and externally.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience managing, coordinating, and providing technical support in the education sector in humanitarian and development settings.
- A relevant Master's degree such as International Development or Education.
- Experience working and living in humanitarian and development contexts.
- Knowledge of working with key education donors, including Danish donors.
- Experience with gender transformative approaches.
- Ability to provide technical support in education within a global organization.
- Experience with logical framework approach (LFA) frameworks, needs assessments, proposal writing, budgeting, and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is highly desirable.
