The University of Southern Denmark invites applications for a position as Assistant or Associate Professor in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer.
Job Description:
As part of the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, the successful candidate will be involved in research and teaching in the field of fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
Responsibilities:
- Teach courses at Bachelor and Master levels in fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
- Conduct research in fluid mechanics and heat transfer, preferably with experience in numerical and experimental methods.
- Supervise students at Bachelor, Master, and PhD levels.
- Participate in national and international research projects and networks.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in a relevant area of engineering or physics.
- Experience in theoretical, numerical, and/or computational fluid mechanics.
- Postdoctoral or industrial research experience.
- Good communication skills in English.
Additional Information:
The University of Southern Denmark offers a dynamic and international work environment with excellent research and teaching facilities.
Appointment as assistant professor is temporary, while appointment as associate professor is permanent.
