We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our Product Introduction department in Copenhagen. As a Product Introduction Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our train sets and driving reliability growth.
Key Responsibilities- Support technical tests and investigations during the warranty period for new train sets.
- Investigate the root cause of errors to develop corrective and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with our PI Trouble Shooter to define the troubleshooting strategy.
- Provide input to PI management on customer satisfaction and product improvements.
- Ensure complete and accurate reporting of errors and deviations in Alstom's Failure Management database.
- Drive Reliability Growth through investigations of reported faults/incidents and implementation of reliability forecasting.
- Support technical review with internal and external suppliers, partners, customers, and authorities.
- Support the preparation and implementation of Field Modification (FM).
- An engineering degree (e.g., electrical or mechanical) or several years of relevant experience that can compensate for an engineering degree.
- Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify the root causes of faults on a train set.
- Experience from working with trains is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Good understanding and knowledge of safety in the workplace.
- Structured and good at ensuring good quality in reports in databases, etc.
- Ability to be flexible in relation to travel.
- Proficiency in English and Danish in writing and speech.
