About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our IT and Automation Department, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation solutions in large-scale API production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust and reliable PLC systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide governance and oversight to ensure the successful delivery of PLC systems, including testing and validation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, external partners, and other automation organizations to drive project success.
  • Provide 24/7 support as part of the maintenance organization, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Travel to Copenhagen as needed to collaborate with partners and contribute to project milestones.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5+ years of professional experience in IT Automation, with a focus on operations and maintenance or project participation.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and requirements, with experience in the Pharma industry or other highly regulated industries (GMP) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Siemens PLC systems, including SIMATIC S7 1500, TIA portal, ProfiNet, OPC UA, and HMI.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills in English.
