As a Control Systems Specialist at Vestas, you will be part of the Control & Auxiliary Power development team in the Control Hardware organization. Your responsibilities will include handling and providing technical solutions in Yaw, Lubrication & Hydraulics, working in close interaction and collaboration with our R&D teams as well as external suppliers. You will guide technical projects following the modular Vestas approach to market, from the early concept stage through design and verification. The project timeline is primarily 1 to 1.5 years. You will also provide guidance on technical solutions as a cross-module technical project manager and implement the new design in accordance with Vestas' process and engineering change management system. Additionally, you will be responsible for platform design, creating high-level technical purchase descriptions, enabling external suppliers to deliver our products in the expected quality and within the agreed timelines.

Responsibilities
As a Control Systems Specialist, your responsibilities will be:

  • To handle and provide technical solutions in Yaw, Lubrication & Hydraulics, working in close interaction and collaboration with our R&D teams as well as external suppliers.
  • Guide technical projects following the modular Vestas approach to market, from the early concept stage through design and verification. The project timeline is primarily 1 to 1.5 years.
  • Provide guidance on technical solutions as a cross-module technical project manager.
  • Implement the new design in accordance with Vestas' process and engineering change management system.
  • Platform design responsibility, creating high-level technical purchase descriptions, enabling external suppliers to deliver our products in the expected quality and within the agreed timelines.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc.E.E, M.Sc.E.E or other relevant education combined with 2 years of professional experience.
  • Experience of working with Control panel design, knowledge of Low-Voltage components and system testing.
  • Knowledge of International standards such as IEC, UL, etc., e.g. IEC 60204-1 Machine directive.
  • Good communication skills in English (oral and written).
  • Work experience in a global company would be beneficial.
