Green Transition Portfolio Specialist

Nordic RCC is a dynamic company that provides critical data and analysis to support national Transmission System Operators in the Nordic region.
We seek a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team and contribute to our ambitious goals of green transition.
The team is situated in the PMO organization, with close collaboration between project managers, senior managers, and finance teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Facilitate management meetings by documenting key decisions, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-ups to drive accountability.
- Coordinate project budget and forecast activities, including status meetings, workshops, and reporting reviews to ensure alignment across departments.
- Establish and manage risk and issue logs, assessing potential threats to project timelines, budgets, and quality.
- Manage resource allocation processes, resolving conflicts in collaboration with project and team leads.
- Maintain centralized repositories for project documentation, ensuring version control and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Analyze and report on project metrics, milestones, and KPIs, providing leadership with actionable insights and portfolio trends.
- Serve as a point of contact for PMO inquiries, providing guidance and support to project teams.
- Foster collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to enhance efficiency and continuous project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, standardizing processes, and enhancing project governance within the PMO.
Requirements:
- Significant experience (more than 5 years) as a portfolio manager or similar in the European renewable energy sector.
- Ability to build trust immediately with senior management through professional attitude and quick learning in a complex environment.
- Experience facilitating group management meetings and distilling discussions into actionable outcomes.
- Skilled in preparing management reports, presentations, and following up on activities.
- Knowledge of various PPM and PMO methods and processes.
- Knowledge of implementing IT solutions.
