Senior Chocolate Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with expertise in analytical techniques and sensory analysis to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark. As a Senior Chocolate Technologist, you will be responsible for transforming ideas into finished chocolates with unique properties, supporting developers and customer technicians in design and execution of development-oriented or customer-driven trials.

About the Role:

• Develop and implement sensory analysis methods to quantify benefits of ingredients in chocolate applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create value-adding vegetable oil solutions for customers.
• Design and execute experiments to test and prove new chocolate processes and product properties.
• Support sales and marketing efforts through production of inspiration and taste samples for exhibitions and seminars.
• Maintain a well-functioning, safe, and clean chocolate laboratory environment.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• Proven experience in sensory analysis and analytical techniques.
• Strong understanding of fat chemistry and ingredient functions in chocolate.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
