We are looking for a Service Engineer who will be responsible for delivering support to our customers by providing corrective, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting services. As a key member of our Customer Services Operations team in EMEA, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers' equipment runs flawlessly, whenever they need it, and at the best possible operational cost.

The position entails 80-90% travel mainly to our customers in Denmark, with frequent overnight assignments. To best match our customers' locations and minimize travel time, it would be ideal if you live in decent driving distance to the customers in the western part of Denmark.

Your main task as a Service Engineer is to provide preventative maintenance and troubleshooting services on processing equipment at our customer's site. You will report to the Service Delivery Manager for Denmark and work closely with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers.
  • Handle technical support queries and follow up on concerns and problems.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, and control systems.
  • Manage documentation related to activities.

We believe you have the skills and qualifications to excel in this role:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a technical environment, preferably as a Service Technician.
  • Experience and/or education within the food industry and process equipment is meritorious.
  • Good understanding of PLCs and other parts of machinery control systems.
  • Ability to perform overhauls of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office tools.
  • Fluent in Danish and excellent skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel 80-90% of your working time.
  • A driver's license, minimum level B.

You are an independent and structured person with a results-driven attitude. You have strong organizational and problem-solving skills and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You have clear and effective way of communicating and experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you have the ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
