Commissioning Engineer

VMS Group is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our System Integration & Commissioning department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth commissioning of marine equipment and systems worldwide.

1. Manage commissioning projects on-site and locally in Frederikshavn, Denmark
2. Provide technical support to colleagues and customers
3. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and working instructions from customers and VMS Group
4. Develop and implement new products and documentation
5. Review tools, additional parts, and consumables during projects

1. Extensive experience with service of marine diesel engines and/or gearboxes, thrusters, propulsion, deck equipment, steering gear, automation of marine equipment
2. Ability to read and comprehend complex machinery or equipment manuals
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
4. Education as marine or mechanical engineer, electrician, or similar
5. Proficient English skills both orally and written
