Haas-Meincke A/S BU Biscuit is a leading manufacturer and distributor of baking machinery within the Consumer Food Division of the Bühler Group. With its headquarters in Copenhagen, the company operates worldwide with its own sales companies and assembly sites in Europe, the Far East, and South America.
The company executes over 100 projects per year from three main engineering and assembly sites, providing innovative solutions for the baking industry.
Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated mechanical design engineers to join our Engineering organization in Skovlunde (Copenhagen) and Rødkærsbro (Jutland). As a mechanical design engineer, you will be part of a talented team of engineers solving challenging technical problems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Executing scope of work as part of projects while ensuring compliance with Bühler-related directives and EHS standards
- Actively participating in project reviews or meetings as required
- Supporting the project manager to ensure proper project execution
- Resolving questions or problems that occur during design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning
- Tracking schedules to ensure project parts are completed on time and prioritizing work hours to support budgeted hours and scheduled due dates
- Capturing return of experience and best practice, applying lessons learned
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Experience with Creo, Inventor, or similar tools and PDM systems
- Knowledge within design for manufacture, standardization, and modularization, preferably with experience from the food industry
- An orientation towards high quality and standards of work results
- Good cross-cultural awareness
- Proactivity
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Customer focus
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Industry and basic business knowledge
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary package, flexible working time, canteen, health insurance, and a number of committed colleagues. The estimated annual salary for this position is between €70,000 and €90,000 depending on your qualifications and experience.
