Role Overview

In this position, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the potential of our data by driving value through real-time integrations and insights across our organization. Collaborating with our exceptional engineering team, you will take comprehensive responsibility for the setup and ongoing management of our global Tag Management System across numerous markets. Team Dynamics

You will be part of the E-commerce product team within Data & Analytics, an agile and cross-functional group comprising engineers, data analysts, and business analysts who work closely with the commercial E-commerce division. Your team will consist of around six members, and you will report directly to the Product Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end testing, evaluation, and quality assurance of technical implementations, including server-side APIs, tags, and client-side pixels.
  • Collaborate with fellow Web Analysts to analyze and quantify the impact of extensive tagging on page performance and revenue generation.
  • Work alongside other Web Analysts to identify data pollutants and develop strategies for data cleansing.
  • Partner with Digital Product Managers to enhance website feature performance through accurate tag placement.
  • Collaborate with Privacy Managers to ensure compliance in data flow execution.
  • Work with Digital Engineering teams to translate client-side data collection into secure server-side pipelines for compliant customer data management.
  • Cooperate with the Digital Data Collection Strategist to design tracking for new website features and outline necessary Tag Management System tasks.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for the Tag Management System.
  • Stay informed on the latest browser privacy issues and implement compliant solutions.
  • Operate within an agile framework.
  • Educate Core Tech and other Data teams on client-side and server-side tagging practices.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of three years of experience managing Tag Management Systems in a global organization or media/marketing agency.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Experience with Tealium iQ or equivalent Tag Management Systems, as well as Tealium Event Stream or similar server-side data management tools.
  • Familiarity with the implementation of Paid Media, affiliate partnerships, and customer data platforms.
  • A solid understanding of privacy by design principles.
