What We're Looking ForWe're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to shaping the future of our products. This role requires someone with a strong background in software development, preferably with a focus on backend or full-stack technologies.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles, experience in building products with customers in mind, and the ability to communicate technical topics effectively to both technical and non-technical people.
This individual should be a team player who enjoys working cross-functionally, values team collaboration, and can align engineering efforts with business goals. Additionally, they should be ready to mentor others, share knowledge, and be enthusiastic about ongoing learning and growth.
Our Technology StackWe use modern tooling to stay efficient and effective. Our main language is TypeScript, with Node/Nest.js for backend development, and React with Mobx on the frontend. We rely on AWS for infrastructure, managed with Pulumi, while GitHub Actions streamlines our CI/CD pipelines.

Estimated Salary RangeThe estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
Your Journey with UsWe're committed to making your interview process a great experience. We want you to feel informed and relaxed throughout the process, and we're transparent about what happens when and with whom.
During your first 6 months, you'll have the opportunity to meet the engineering team, get introduced to key people from other departments, and participate in recurring team meetings as an observer. You'll also gain hands-on experience with our codebase by authoring small code changes and participating in code reviews.
In the next 3 months, you'll develop a deeper understanding of the current codebase and key system components. You'll actively contribute to technical discussions, take ownership of specific areas, and build strong cross-functional relationships with product and other teams to align on customer needs.
Within 6 months, you'll lead technical initiatives that enhance system performance, security, and reliability. You'll propose and lead architectural changes to improve scalability and maintainability, share knowledge with other engineers, and help establish and champion best practices for secure and maintainable code.
