About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Global Wind Service. As an Electrical Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning properly and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the installation and maintenance of wind turbines, including electrical systems and components
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and fault-finding
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning properly and safely
  • Develop and implement procedures for electrical system maintenance and repair
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance electrical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical installation and maintenance, preferably in the wind industry
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and components, including circuit diagrams and electrical codes
  • Valid GWO BST and BTT trainings
  • Completed electrical education, preferably with a diploma
  • English language skills at a communication level (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work at height and in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to travel and work in flexible rotations
  • High emphasis on Quality and Safety
