Job Description

Tesla, Inc. is a leading electric vehicle and clean energy company seeking an Automotive Service Specialist to join our team.

This role will be responsible for coordinating seamless service experiences for customers, constituting the front line of Tesla's customer-facing operations and serving as a brand ambassador. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with customers through digital channels and face-to-face interactions to provide scheduling and status updates, wait time information, and payment requirements.
  • Educate customers on Tesla products and features, answering questions using clear and concise language.
  • Maintain a tidy and representative customer-facing area, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Manage the service fleet, performing damage audits, flagging service requirements, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
  • Facilitate test drives in service, promoting new products and supporting additional sales efforts.
  • Manage unscheduled appointments and any unexpected situations on site, ensuring smooth workshop operations.
  • Possess a good understanding of Tesla's products and services to perform basic visual diagnostics and accurately record repair orders.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to guarantee efficient and seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on delivering excellent service, preferably in a technical or automotive environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Ability to excel in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong initiative-taking abilities.
  • Digitally savvy, able to adopt and adapt quickly to new technology and systems.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in English.
  • Valid driving license and safe driving record required.
