Cloud Operations Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Research and Development DevOps team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for Linux and cloud infrastructure to be part of building the next generation operations platform.

This role involves architecting solutions for reliable and scalable systems operations, configuring and maintaining Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, and network configurations at a large scale in remote locations. You will also build tools and services for field operations, support, and software development teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in a similar position, with strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of the Linux ecosystem. Experience with container-based systems, IT security, and automation using Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecting solutions for reliable and scalable systems operations
  • Configuring and maintaining Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, and network configurations
  • Building tools and services for field operations, support, and software development teams
  • Automating deployment and system configurations in code
  • Defining and implementing security policies and firewall rules
