As a Network Security Solutions Architect at Vestas, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing secure communication infrastructure aligned with industry standards. Our company is at the forefront of green energy solutions, and we are seeking an experienced professional to join our Research & Development team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security and experience working with industrial control systems. You will be responsible for identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, recommending changes or enhancements, and implementing secure communication infrastructure aligned with the industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure communication infrastructure aligned with industry standards
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Work closely with regional experts and local security specialists to ensure alignment with global standards
  • Implement early-stage feasibility studies of new projects and proof of concept for new technology solutions
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements
  • University degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in advanced network architecture and design
  • Hands-on experience with NextGen firewalls, Unidirectional gateways, and related technologies
  • Experience with Cisco ISE, IPSec VPN, DMVPN, and device authentication (IEEE .1x)
  • Facilitate Log & Net flow analysis, vulnerability identification and evaluation, patch management for network equipment
  • Strong understanding of OSPF, BGP, and related routing protocols
  • Copper/Fiber Optics technologies supporting LAN, WAN, and Wireless
  • Knowledge about Information Security and Risk Management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills at both technical and non-technical levels
