This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of renewable energy as part of a diverse and innovative senior technical management team. As a Technical Product Development Director for Plant Optimisation and Reporting, you will be key in developing technical solutions for wind farm control, ancillary services, market integration, and the associated reporting suite.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer needs and develop strategic solutions that align with business objectives and sustainability goals.
- Create and maintain a quality roadmap for your agile release train that is aligned with your business strategy and continuously updated based on feedback and validation.
- Prioritize and manage deliveries across 6 engineering teams, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate with systems engineers and software architects to ensure feasibility of solutions.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to align on dependencies, risks, and priorities.
- Contribute to the commercial development of new renewable energy options, management, and ancillary services.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in energy, data, analytics, or related digital engineering fields.
- 1+ years of Senior Specialist/Director-level experience, with 3+ years preferred.
- Proven ability to influence decisions and alignment across business and technical teams.
- Familiarity with SAFe and Systems Engineering is highly advantageous.
