Expert Position in Radioligand Imaging and Therapy

DTU Health Tech is seeking an accomplished Associate Professor with expertise in nuclear imaging in oncology and immuno-oncology. Experience in radioligand therapy development would be advantageous.

The selected candidate will join a dynamic team at the Lyngby campus, collaborating closely with the Hevesy Laboratory, a GMP-compliant unit producing radiopharmaceuticals and various nuclides for commercial use. The laboratory features cyclotrons, hot cells, clean room facilities, and advanced technical equipment. We collaborate with institutions specializing in fundamental dosimetry and European national laboratories to develop new radionuclides for therapy, diagnosis, and other social services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage in vivo studies to evaluate novel therapeutics and radioligand therapies (efficacy, biodistribution, PET/SPECT imaging, and MoA studies) in collaboration with cross-functional project teams (radiochemistry, clinical imaging, immuno-oncology, etc.) to advance imaging diagnostics and radioligand therapies to the clinic.
  • Teach courses and supervise pre- and postgraduate students.
  • Contribute to research excellence at the department within nuclear medicine, establishing stronger ties between university, hospitals, and industry.

Qualifications:

  • PhD degree (or equivalent)
  • Academic qualifications equivalent to those obtained by holding an assistant professorship and documented didactic/pedagogic training
  • Experience in teaching, research, and international collaboration
