Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated MarTech data engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our data engineering team, you will play a key role in integrating various data sources and systems with and within our MarTech stack. This involves designing and maintaining data models, ensuring seamless data flows, and supporting the technical infrastructure needed for effective marketing operations.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain integrations between the Adobe MarTech stack and various internal and external data sources.* Document data models and data flows.* Work closely with other departments to integrate data systems and ensure interoperability.* Maintain and optimize data models in both Customer Data Platform (CDP) and other database systems to support various marketing initiatives as well as commercial insights.* Collaborate with the Data Manager to design, document, implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures.* Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure high data quality.* Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and processing issues.* Ensure system reliability and performance by regularly monitoring data pipelines and integration processes.* Provide technical guidance and support to your MarTech colleagues and marketing and business teams on data-related projects.* Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data integration and processing efficiency.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or a similar role, preferably within MarTech in a large organization or telco company.* Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Adobe Experience Cloud or similar MarTech platform.* Hands on experience with data modeling techniques and best practices.* Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for data engineering purposes.* Experience with API integration and web services.* Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements.* Programming skills in languages such as Python, Node JS or similar.* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.* You have professional working language proficiency in English, and ideally also in Danish.
