At WS Audiology, we are committed to improving the quality of people's lives by providing innovative hearing solutions. As a key player in the hearing aid industry, we are seeking an experienced Test Manager to join our Research and Development (R&D) team.

About the Role

This strategic position is part of a larger-scale reorganization aimed at enhancing our system testing approach and optimizing our R&D footprint across multiple locations. As the Test Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive System Test Concept and Program System Test Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Test Strategy: Create and maintain the System Test Concept and Program System Test Plans, ensuring their effective implementation across all relevant projects and subsystems.
  • Cross-Product Test Coordination: Lead and coordinate thorough cross-product and cross-platform test activities, collaborating with subsystem and domain test stakeholders to ensure prompt issue resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold and enforce regulatory compliance for medical testing processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Leadership and Communication: Support testing status meetings, guiding discussions on test plans, methodologies, execution, results, and failure tracking. Present comprehensive status reports on testing progress to key stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Cross-Domain Test Steering: Oversee and coordinate cross-domain test activities on a solution level, including readiness tests and user acceptance tests, from planning to execution and reporting.

As a Test Manager, you will have an important part in steering the analysis and handling of failures at the system level, ensuring integration with project/subsystem/domain change processes. Continuous improvement of system test and system change management procedures will be a key aspect of this role.

Requirements
  • Test Management Expertise: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including experience as a System or Software Test Manager, preferably within the medical device industry.
  • Comprehensive Testing Knowledge: Extensive experience with all areas of the system/software test life cycle, including requirement analysis, test planning, test case development, test environment setup, data creation, and test execution.
  • Product Development Experience: Proven experience in product development, particularly with embedded software and corresponding test automation approaches.
  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks: Well-versed in the application of Agile for development and testing workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-domain and cross-functional development environments.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent technical and analytical skills, who can thrive in a collaborative environment and work effectively with various stakeholders across different departments. If you have the necessary skills and experience, we would be pleased to receive your application.
