Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant projects, organizations, or fields.
  • Experience working on youth-related employability issues in the region, and a deep understanding of the barriers and challenges faced by youth in accessing and securing self-employment, and ideally contextual knowledge of Jordan.
  • Experience within youth entrepreneurship programs, additionally within incubation programs or initiatives accessing external financing is an advantage.
  • Experience working with civil society, local authorities, private sector, and other relevant stakeholders on entrepreneurship among youth, including youth from vulnerable backgrounds.
  • Successful experience in program development and building relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in coordination of project design and implementation.
  • Relevant degree or other relevant education.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Understanding of the Jordanian culture and context (for non-Jordanians).
