About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Specialist to join our team at the Danish Refugee Council. As a key member of our Finance, Supply Chain and Risk Department, you will play a critical role in managing our treasury, liquidity, and cash flows.

As a Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective processes for treasury management, currency hedging, liquidity, and cash flow management. You will work closely with our banking partners, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with banking partners to develop and maintain relationships, including regular KYC's.
  • Set up and manage a cash flow tool to assist with daily cash flow management, including weekly payment runs.
  • Prepare and present weekly liquidity reports and participate in the weekly liquidity board.
  • Develop and execute hedging strategies for currency and interest rate exposures.
  • Prepare short- and medium-term liquidity forecasts.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an international organization, bank, consultancy, or financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, cash flow management, and financial markets.
  • Excellent analytical and data management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Good intercultural skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • High level of written and spoken English. Danish language skills are a plus.
