At Alfa Laval, we're shaping a more resourceful and less wasteful world. As a Business Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget. You'll work closely with our Engineering & Supply management team to manage main stakeholders, including Project Managers/Order Managers in Europe and Asia.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Close follow up for larger projects within the organization.
- Manage main stakeholders, like Project Managers/Order Managers in both Europe and Asia, Head of Engineering & Supply, Head of Global Sales, auditors, etc.
- Accurate and appropriate recording of accounting transactions within Work in Progress.
- Provide financial support to project management.
- Implement and maintain financial project follow-up ensuring compliance with statutory and group rules.
- Collaborate effectively with our Project Managers, including updating budgets and timelines with high quality.
- Create and maintain relevant KPIs to ensure accountability within the organization.
You'll be responsible for managing complex projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and efficiency. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
We're looking for someone with a Master's degree in accounting or finance, a strong background in accounting, solid IT competencies within MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint), ERP, and business intelligence. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as fluency in English and Danish.
