Job Description
The successful candidate will join our newly established Macro Trading team as an experienced energy trader, actively managing risk on our strategic positions and developing systematic trading strategies. This role involves collaborating closely with analysts and quants to develop algorithmic trading strategies for European power, gas, and emissions markets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain systematic trading strategies in European power, gas, and EUAs markets
  • Engage proactively with quants and researchers to develop a portfolio of algorithms
  • Monitor all portfolio positions and manage risks accordingly

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate holds a master's degree in Economic, Finance or similar, has at least two years of professional trading experience, ideally with European energy markets, and possesses excellent coding skills (Python, R, or similar languages). They should communicate fluently in English, both orally and written, and have a solid proprietary trading track record. Additionally, they should be passionate about European energy markets, have a curious and competitive mindset, and be a team player who will do what is best for the team and InCommodities.
