Key Responsibilities

As a NetSuite Functional Consultant, you will engage closely with business units, particularly finance, to grasp their operational processes and requirements. Your primary tasks will include planning, designing, configuring, and customizing solutions to meet specific business needs. You will act as a bridge between business units and product development, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality deliverables.

Daily operational duties and documentation are integral to this role, and familiarity with agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence will be advantageous.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of NetSuite, with a deep understanding of its functionalities, modules, and features. Proven experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant or in a similar role is essential.

Key skills include:

  • Ability to analyze various environments, identify challenges, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in leveraging and customizing out-of-the-box NetSuite solutions.
  • Capability to assess the current NetSuite environment and enhance utilization, functionality, and workflow automation across all business functions.
  • Experience in designing and implementing future-state data integrations into NetSuite.
  • Familiarity with Zone Advanced Billing, AVT, Dynatos/ReadSoft, Pagero, and Banking is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Localization bundles, preferably Nordic bundles.
  • Experience with data exporting, modifying, and importing using saved searches, CSV import, mass updates, and scripts.
  • Awareness of emerging IT trends and relevant business developments related to current and new technologies.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite.
  • Relevant educational background (e.g., bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field).
  • NetSuite Consultant Certification is preferred.
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification is also preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, as it is the corporate language at EG Norge AS.
