Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Model Developer to join our Intraday Analysis team. As a Quantitative Model Developer, you will play a key role in building machine learning and optimization models that support the decision-making within our flexible asset business.

About the Role

  • You will build quantitative models that trade flexible assets such as batteries, Combined Heat and Power, and Power-to-X in a systematic way.
  • Develop optimization algorithms that participate in coding algorithmic trading infrastructure and optimization engines used for live trading.
  • Conduct market research and strategy analysis aimed at improving overall PnL and operational robustness.
  • Support team members to ensure operational stability of algorithms developed by the team.

Your Background

  • You have an educational background in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, statistics, data science, or engineering.
  • You have at least three years of experience in a similar position either in the energy industry or the financial markets.
  • You have solid coding skills with the ability to write production-level Python code.
  • You have great communication skills to explain your analyses to stakeholders.
  • You are proficient in English both written and verbal.
