About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Field Applications Specialist to provide technical support to our broad market customer base primarily in Denmark, with potential expansion to other Nordic countries. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, and product line experts to identify opportunities and position the best solutions tailored to customer needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system requirements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present complex technical information effectively. They will also possess good organizational skills, be able to multitask, and prioritize activities independently.
Responsibilities- Understand customer system requirements and propose solutions based on ADI components and technology.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring fast responses and delivering high-quality support.
- Train customers on Analog Devices' solutions and products, as well as presenting at seminars.
- Train Product Lines, Sales, and Applications on customer system requirements.
- Run evaluation systems/boards, providing on-site customer lab support.
- Work closely with Account Managers to drive customer technical support activities and coordinate actions with Marketing and Product Lines.
- Collaborate with Product Lines, Marketing, and Application teams to develop and maintain good relationships, providing regular inputs and updates to support new product definitions.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in electronics engineering, preferably MSEE or PhD.
- At least two years of experience in analog design at board/system level or previous experience as a Field Applications Engineer or similar role.
- Mixed signal and/or power applications/design expertise at the board/system level.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and set priorities independently.
- A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, capable of presenting to and working with all levels of Management, Sales, and Engineering.
- Flexibility and proactive attitude are essential.
- Good lab measurement and debug skills.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Danish.
- Ability to deliver convincing presentations.
- Software skills in Microcontroller and/or DSP programming are a plus.
This role involves regional travel (within territory) for approximately 25-50% of working time. As a Field Applications Specialist, you will be expected to work independently, prioritize activities, and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
