Job Title: Principal Clinical Pharmacology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Clinical Pharmacology Specialist to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of our Early Clinical Pharmacology area, you will play a critical role in designing, planning, and executing first-in-human and other early clinical pharmacology trials across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of early clinical pharmacology strategies and designs for first-in-human and other early clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of clinical trials, including dose setting and trial safety groups.
  • Provide scientific input and expertise to internal and external partners involved in managing our clinical trials.
  • Represent Clinical Pharmacology and Global Translation in Global Project Teams and Translational Teams.
  • Interact with Health Authorities and Key Opinion Leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and scientific excellence.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences and/or MD combined with extensive experience in drug development and Clinical Pharmacology.
  • Strong scientific mindset and experience in planning and conducting clinical pharmacology trials.
  • Excellent understanding of clinical dosing aspects, including first human dose setting and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional global teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English.
