Launch Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Launch Operations Director to lead our Launch Team in the delivery of exceptional results to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Launch Team, managing team performance, and delegating Instructor tasks and deadlines.

About the Role
  • Lead the Launch Team to ensure safe working practices among team members on assigned projects, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Launch Team, track and review team deliverables, and participate in Training Meetings as required to stay informed about team progress and challenges.
  • Maintain effective communication with Launch Team Instructors to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain project training materials and ensure they are recorded in the Digital Management System (DMS) and the training manual.
  • Establish and maintain training standards within the Project by collaborating with other departments supporting manufacturing processes, such as maintenance and stockroom/customer service.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with ECM processes in Vestas, including documentation, tooling, and Vestas processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP System: SAP knowledge at Technical Support level, understanding of documents, tooling, and Vestas processes.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including database handling to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with Power Point, Visio, and Microsoft Project to create presentations, diagrams, and project plans.
  • High-level English language proficiency (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Conduct regular One to One meetings with Launch team Instructors throughout the project duration to discuss performance, provide feedback, and set goals.
