Role Summary

At Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Specialist to join our Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) team in the Nordics. As an Associate in this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of regulatory activities related to raw materials, finished products, product registration, labeling, claims, packaging, and regulatory database management to ensure compliance with applicable food and other product-related laws and regulations in accordance with internal processes and within assigned countries and areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assure ingredients, formulas, labeling, and packaging are in full compliance with laws and regulations as well as internal standards/policies in assigned markets.
  • Proactively monitor regulatory developments and activities in assigned markets and determine current and expected regulatory status of new ingredients and additives.
  • Support the external regulatory influencing strategy related to assigned countries/EU in a proactive manner, working with internal partners to understand priorities and impacts of developing legislation and aligning appropriate external positions.
  • Participate on project teams and anticipate regulatory issues, working with legal counsel, consultants, suppliers, trade associations, and other external partners to clarify and resolve these issues.
