We are seeking an ambitious Financial Analyst (student position) who will join our dynamic team to support our portfolio with finance-related tasks, including monthly and annual reporting to management and investors, financial consulting for portfolio companies, and other finance-related tasks. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing organization and gain hands-on experience in finance, accounting, and investment processes.

Responsibilities
  • Monthly and Annual Reporting: Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly financial reporting, contribute to the annual report process, and ensure all deliverables meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Financial Consulting: Work directly with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations on investment opportunities, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Accounting Support: Collaborate with our accounting team, review day-to-day bookkeeping, and help maintain organized financial records across multiple portfolio companies.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to streamline recurring financial procedures, ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Serve as an internal consultant for our portfolio companies by supporting various projects, including market research, data analysis, and strategic planning.
About You
  • Educational Background: Ideally, you are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, economics, business administration) and plan to continue with a master's program.
  • Academic Excellence: Strong academic record, combined with a pragmatic and analytical mindset.
  • Interest in Finance and Accounting: You have a genuine interest in finance and accounting and are eager to deepen your understanding of financial reporting processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is required. Experience with accounting tools (e-conomic or similar) is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: Thorough, systematic approach with high attention to detail; comfortable working with deadlines.
  • Proactive & Driven: Self-starter who can take initiative, drive tasks forward independently, yet collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Danish and English (both written and verbal) is preferred.
