Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our Nacelles Manufacturing team. As a key member of our Tools Concept department, you will play a vital role in defining tool solutions and strategies for our global manufacturing footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end tool projects, coordinating international resources and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop tools and equipment for new products
  • Ensure timely delivery and commissioning of tools and equipment, prioritizing safety and quality standards
  • Participate in early design phases with a manufacturing tools and equipment perspective
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation options to stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, leading complex projects
  • Engineering or Business degree combined with relevant project management education
  • Technical understanding or background, combined with equipment and automation knowledge
  • Experience in project management, particularly in manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of new product introductions in manufacturing environments
  • Technical knowledge of design and development of complex industrial equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft packages, SAP, BI, or equivalent EPR knowledge

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, CE, and safety standards
  • Holistic view and technical knowledge, able to bridge stakeholders, engineering staff, and suppliers
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to motivate people
  • Customer-focused and solution-oriented, with high accountability
  • Ability to coordinate multi-cultural and diverse teams globally
  • Proven ability to work with limited supervision and in teams under tight deadlines
  • Open-minded and good at sharing and gathering information within a team, with excellent communication skills in English
