Københavns Universitet (KU) is inviting applications for two highly attractive postdoctoral positions in the field of proteomics and genomics. The positions are available in the Choudhary group at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR).
About the ProjectThe project aims to understand the scope and function of lysine acetylation in gene regulation and the mechanisms of gene activation by cis-regulatory enhancers. We will use quantitative proteomics and genomics to further understand the role of acetylation and other chromatin modifications in gene regulation.
Required Skills and QualificationsCandidates should have a PhD/MD degree in natural or medical science, with excellent scientific productivity and strong interpersonal skills. Expert knowledge in one or more areas such as epigenetics, gene transcription regulation, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, or quantitative mass spectrometry for analyzing proteins is required. Candidates should also have experience in computer programming languages, such as R or Python, and strong background in statistical analysis of large-scale data.
