We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Assistant to support our Dutch and Italian teams at Egmont Group. As a Student Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting our editors in contacting relevant rightsholders, researching authors to scout new titles, uploading and managing titles in our IT systems, optimizing and quality-checking metadata, ordering books and coordinating book scanning, and assisting with sales and marketing by creating presentations, brochures, and blog posts.
Key Responsibilities- Support Editors in contacting relevant rightsholders and negotiating agreements.
- Research authors and publishers to identify new titles and opportunities for Egmont Group.
- Upload and manage titles in our IT systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date metadata.
- Optimize and quality-check metadata to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Order books and coordinate book scanning to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist with sales and marketing by creating engaging presentations, brochures, and blog posts.
- Currently enrolled in a university program at a Danish university with at least one year remaining.
- Native speaker of Dutch or Italian.
- Punctual, detail-oriented, and good at meeting deadlines.
- Quick to adapt to complex IT systems.
- Knowledge of tools like Canva, HubSpot, and Power BI.
- Passionate about international literature and pop culture.
- Willing to take on administrative tasks.
