Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mid-weight UX designer to join our highly collaborative Web team at Cision Denmark ApS.

About the Team:

  • You will be part of a growing cross-functional team consisting of designers, developers, and marketers.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Champion: Ensure our brand is consistently represented across all customer and prospect website touchpoints on the website.
  2. Plan and build intuitive, engaging, responsive, and accessible website solutions in response to briefs, prioritizing users' needs, loading speeds, scalability, and conversation opportunities.
  3. Conduct user research (generative and evaluative) and translate findings into robust user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and user delight.
  4. Optimize the information architecture of our sites so that users can achieve their tasks and goals with precision and speed.
  5. Assist with systemizing Website UX & UI, creating a comprehensive pattern library that delivers efficiency, consistency, and delight to all design touchpoints across the organization.
  6. Drive and maintain great UX design within a cross-functional website team to ensure pages and sites are fundamentally user-focused and accessible to all.
  7. Liaise with peers to source and/or create website assets such as product shots, diagrams, and motion graphics.
  8. Liaise with Content to find the best fit for website copy.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.

About You:

  • You have at least 3 years of commercial experience working as a UX designer.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in a field such as user experience design, graphic design, interaction design, or a related field.
  • You present a portfolio/examples of work during your interview that demonstrates excellence in your craft.
  • You have proficiency in design software used by the team (Figma / Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator).
  • You can distill and translate complex requirements into crisp, modern, accessible, and inviting wireframes, web page designs, and experiences.
  • You document and communicate your work efficiently and effectively to various stakeholders.
  • You have a deep knowledge of core visual design principles and how to apply them.
  • You have a critical eye for details.
  • You have a working knowledge of Design systems and ways of systemizing, scaling, and documenting design solutions across large organizations.
  • You have a thorough understanding of UI web patterns and web design principles.
  • You possess strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • You have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • You have experience designing for mobile/responsive contexts.
  • You have a good working knowledge of accessibility requirements and how to solve for them.
  • You are familiar with Wordpress.
