We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Strategist to join our Research Data Governance Department at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and operationalizing our data governance strategy for Research and Early Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive data governance strategy that encompasses people, process, and technology.
  • Lead the operationalization of the data governance strategy, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including data stewards, to cultivate a data-driven culture.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Partner with data stewards to increase data literacy and drive business value through data-driven decision making.
Requirements
  • PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Computational Science.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data management, with a focus on cultivating a robust data-driven culture.
  • Solid experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries and understanding of the drug discovery value chain.
  • In-depth understanding of FAIR and ALCOA+ Principles.
  • Strong knowledge of data classification methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in implementing digital transformation initiatives.
