Clinical Operations Manager - Rare Diseases is a vital role within Lundbeck A/S, H's Global Clinical Trial team. As a seasoned professional in the field, you will leverage your expertise to manage clinical trials in rare diseases, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Job Description

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the execution of clinical trials in rare diseases, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams and CROs/vendors. You will be accountable for delivering high-quality trial outcomes, meeting project deadlines, and adhering to budget constraints.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Managing CROs and vendors with budget oversight
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to drive clinical trial execution
  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize clinical trial processes
  • Fostering strong relationships with external partners, including patient advocacy groups and clinical research organizations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • MSc level or above within medical, pharmaceutical, or biological sciences and > 5 years of experience in managing clinical trials in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO
  • Experience managing rare disorder clinical trials is beneficial but not essential
  • Effective communication and coordination skills with international experience and a multicultural mindset
  • Solid interpersonal skills: pro-active, goal-oriented, focused, responsible, and effective
  • Able to communicate effortlessly in English – both orally and in writing
