Clinical Application Specialist IGT
Job DescriptionAs a Clinical Application Specialist of Philips Image Guided Therapy systems (angiography systems), you will provide clinical expertise through pre-sales presentations, product demonstrations, application training, and handing over of company products. You will assist the sales staff in assessing potential applications of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product clinical specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
Your Role:
- Supporting Account Managers by providing clinical decision support for products and solutions, including sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Developing and executing winning clinical sales strategies to expand market share.
- Actively participating with the sales team in coordinating and executing clinical evaluations, product demonstrations, and presentations.
- Educating the sales team on emerging clinical issues and positioning solutions to address these market changes. Keeping up to date with new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment.
- Supporting new product launches.
- Customer training, including setting up application training schedules in close cooperation with the customer.
- Delivering customized (competency-based) training material packs when required.
- Supporting user group meetings when required.
- Conducting regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback about the quality of the training delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Staying informed about new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment.
- Managing safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection and health and safety regulations. Taking immediate control of any hazards or accidents and involving the safety advisor from the regional office.
- Ensuring all clinical applications training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy.
- Reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and following up on relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner.
You are the right fit if:
- University or bachelor degree in a relevant allied health discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of angio systems, with proficiency in one of the clinical segments such as Interventional Radiology and/or Interventional Cardiology.
- Preferably at least 5 years of experience in clinical applications and working in cath labs.
- Experience working in cath labs.
- A people person who enjoys engaging with customers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Great teamwork skills.
- Ability to utilize problem-solving, critical thinking, and priority-setting skills.
- Fluent in speaking, understanding, and writing in English in addition to the local language.
- Teaching experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
- Willingness to travel in Denmark and Nordic countries.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
