Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity to join Danfoss A/S as a Global Ethics Director. In this critical role, you will shape and further develop our ethics and human rights programs, ensuring we not only meet but exceed international standards and stakeholders' expectations.

The successful candidate will have a high degree of empathy, integrity, and the ability to manage diverse perspectives effectively. You are self-driven, structured, and persistent, with a good sense of humor.

We are seeking a strategic thinker with high-level analytical skills, critical thinking, and solid judgment. As a person with great communication skills, you can translate complex ethics and human rights issues into business language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and own the content of the Danfoss Ethics Handbook and Human Rights program
  • Drive continuous improvement of the ethics & human rights agenda within Danfoss, ensuring alignment with the company's values and strategic objectives
  • Represent Danfoss in external human rights organizations
  • Handle internal complaints related to ethics and human rights

You will also ensure compliance with human rights-related legislation and exceed customer expectations to create business opportunities. Additionally, you will develop, implement, and oversee Human Rights Due Diligence processes and monitor their effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in international law, international politics, or a related field
  • Several years of cross-organizational management experience, preferably within a large corporation
  • Experience in corporate compliance, governance, sustainability, and knowledge of international human rights frameworks (e.g., UN Global Compact, Modern Slavery Acts)
